Discuss The Red Sea Diving Resort

Let me preface this opinion by saying that this movie is quite mediocre, which by Netflix standards makes it a good movie, but there's a good chance you will let out a big "MEH" when it's finally over. Anywho, since it's quite a slow burn with very little action or 'thrillering' I guess they felt it was necessary to tack on a cliche ending. You know the kind where the hero is making a big escape and the bad guy magically finds out in the nick of time he is making his escape and makes a mad dash to stop the escape. In this case it doesn't really make any sense, though. Not only does the "general", or whoever he was, have no real reason to waste so much, if any, resources worrying about some ethiopian refugees, but there is also no way he could just magically know they were at that airport. Either way seems kind of ballsy of him and his posse to start shooting at the airplane in pitch black darkness when it's obviously impossible for them to tell who is in that plane. For all they know they might be shooting at the president of Sudan. Then again....now that I think of it....none of the script writing was exactly stellar in this. I think the tensest moment in the film is when Chris Evans and his gang run their truck through a checkpoint and the general comes looking for them. Now you'd imagine that after a stunt like this their smuggling would get harder and there would be checkpoints up the wazoo on those roads, but apparently all the checkpoints in the country vanished into thin air after that incident since they are never mentioned in the film again and they only seem to increase their smuggling.
