I really, really like his characters in everything, but I just wondered... first of all, is his character in this film gay or straight, do you think? Also, it seems he plays those ambiguously gay/bi/straight characters a lot (I'm aware he's gay in real life, btw)- I love Alex in 13 Reasons Why btw

When Simon asks him straight up are you Blue?
He says no, I thought he was lying just for that scene lol.
I also thought it was nice of him to say hey I know you've been going through a lot do you need to talk? Back when I was in high school no other guy or girl would ever be like hey you been going through a lot do you need to talk? No one was as considerate or understanding back then. Good thing I wasn't gay it would be the worst high school to be gay in, the one I had to endure for 4 years!
