My point is fuck people who are trying to kill off the ginger race. They are people to and need representation as well. But in all seriousness, go fuck yourself if you think its cool to change a character to black or any other race to meet a quota/push an agenda. Its tokenism at its best.

Thats not how it works. Casting/producers have a look in mind already. They may put something like 'open to all races' or whatever but they already have a certain look in mind for the role. If a character is race/sex changed its done on purpose.

My original point still stands. You shouldnt change gender/race for a bs reason or to try to push a woke agenda/meet a quota. Woke Hollywood needs to go back to focusing on stories and character development. a Lead character shouldnt be defined by their sex or sexual preferences. They shouldnt be defined by their skin or what zim/zer names they feel like being called at the time.

When Marvel movies change Caucasian characters like Mary Jane Watson, Johnny Storm or the Kingpin to black ones, they’re proving that those characters aren’t defined by their color.

I understand what you mean. But they arent doing it to enhance the story/characters from the source material. Black Panther is a perfect example. His race is part of his character, being from an African country. We cant turn him into a Muslim character. Blades race isnt. So by that logic we can turn Blade into a Irish immigrant right? Either way its wrong if you are purist like me and many others. This isnt about 'someone was better for the role that auditioned.' Its a 'lets get woke points with the loudest group on Twitter that wont even support our product after we ruin it for the real fans.'

She's not Mary Jane Watson, she's Michelle Jones Watson. Mary Jane Watson also exists in the MCU...she's mentioned by name in No Way Home. Also, Zendaya wasn't even originally meant to be MJ either, as she was supposed to play Michele Gonzales (another gf of Peter's from the comics), but then Amy Pascal decided to change her last name to Jones in Homecoming as she thought it would be a clever joke. Then they went all in on it on No Way Home by giving her the last name of Watson. Still doesn't make her Mary Jane...it just makes her a new character. Isn't that what you've been arguing this whole time for? Make a new character for POCs, instead of replacing old ones? Well...they did that. :/

TV Triss is a travesty! Not only is she not a red-head, she's nowhere near as attractive as "game" Triss. (I can't believe "my" Geralt blew it with her).

I know that in the books Yennefer is the one for Geralt but in the games it always felt to me that he was useful and a fun booty call, whereas Triss seemed to actually wanted to spend time with him.

Well, she's a lot closer to that look now than she had been before. I think they had her have brown hair to match the younger Triss actress they had cast first, however since that actress died and because of backlash against season one they made some changes in season 2, ie they changed Triss's hair color and they gave Nilfgaard better armor (to ones that no longer looked like scrotums).
