Hi, please provide some official sources to support your claim. Then it becomes easier for us to decide what to do. Thanks.

Thanks. So we have a case where all available promotional material (trailers, posters, websites) use the title Monsieur & Madame Adelman (production company website: http://www.filmsdukiosque.fr/longs-metrages/m-mme-adelman). So, should we use the more stylized on-screen title or the "title in use". I'll wait for another moderator to weigh in. I personally think it makes a ton of sense to stay with Monsieur & Madame Adelman as the original title.

Well, the press kit also uses Mr & Mme Adelman: https://medias.unifrance.org/medias/166/157/171430/presse/monsieur-madame-adelman-dossier-de-presse-francais.pdf

Maybe I'm slow, but the French press kit has the title we currently carry: "Monsieur & Madame Adelman". So I guess we should stay with that one. But what title to use for the translated English title? The English language press kit has the proposed translated English title.

I meant inside the press kit. It uses the same artwork, but there are 13 references for "Mr & Mme Adelman".

Why can't they just use one title? You can decide what titles to use. Changing the original obviously means that we can have the same title as translated.

Bumping this discussion - the US/English-language press materials all refer to the film as Mr & Mrs Adelman, including the above-linked press kit and the very poster displayed for the film here on tmdb. Not sure why the "Translated Title (English)" bit on the edit page is locked, but it seems clear that the English title is Mr & Mrs Adelman.

The openings credits are in French. It's a French language film.
