For a leave your brain at the door monster movie. Its not bad. I prefer it to the 2014 Godzilla movie or the last Toho Godzilla. God those two were boring.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to. Used it to kill time on a plane and was a good choice. It was a little more serious than I expected, with the level of violence, blood etc which I liked. The CGI creatures and FX in general were very good. Some good lines for The Rock as well.
