More and more parents take competitive behavior towards the teachers of their children: deny votes and programs, vaneggiano of likes, dislikes, and conspiracies. Alex és bandája egy nagy megmérettetésre készül: indulni akarnak az együtteseknek meghirdetett zenei vetélkedőn. Az iskola új igazgatónője azonban beszünteti a próbákat, és arra bíztatja őket, inkább a tanulásra koncentráljanak. A fiatalok azonban nem hajlandók feladni álmukat, még akkor sem, ha úgy érzik, mindenki összeesküdött ellenük.

Sempre più genitori assumono un comportamento concorrenziale nei confronti degli insegnanti dei loro figli: negano voti e programmi, vaneggiano di simpatie, antipatie, e cospirazioni. Così, invece di aiutare nella formazione dei loro figli, diventano ostacoli insormontabili alla loro crescita. Presuntuosamente pensano: "Noi conosciamo meglio di chiunque altro i nostri figli e sappiamo quello che valgono e come e cosa si deve insegnare."

Piątka przyjaciół, Alex (Leonardo Cecchi), Nicole (Eleonora Gaggero), Emma (Beatrice Vendramin), Sam (Federico Russo) i Christian (Saul Nanni), to bardzo utalentowani nastolatkowie, którzy chcą za wszelką cenę odnieść sukces w przemyśle muzycznym. Kiedy zostaje ogłoszony przez radio koncert dla licealnych zespołów, przyjaciele od razu chcą wystąpić, jednak na przeszkodzie stoją ich rodzice, którzy chcą, żeby dzieci skupiły się wyłącznie na nauce, a nowa dyrektorka szkoły jest przeciwna ich występowi. Przed Alexem i spółką czeka długa droga, by pokonać przeszkody i spełnić swoje marzenia.
