Disney put a lot of money into this Bollywood film, and may not recover it. The director kept doing re-shoots and spent years making it. There is a lot of singing and the lead actresses even pokes fun at that. Too much time was spent setting up the lead character, especially a subplot about whether a death at a school was a suicide. The whirlwind story about his father was interesting, especially the observations that the woman and he were both "bad lucky."
