I am so tired of movies that you guess the ending in the first 10 minutes. You will need to be immortal to sit through this. I have no understanding of the needless vicious killing of innocent creatures displayed in this movie - had it been left out it would have made no difference whatsoever. I often wonder why people would wish for immortality - imagine waking up every day knowing that there will never be an end in sight - I cannot imagine a worse hell on earth.

Killing what creatures? I don't recall that part. it's been few years...
Anyway, the question of mortality and immortality and what gives our lives meaning is a main theme of the movie... So it seems like it did resonate with you...
