Sad, poor Marcus..wonder what happened to them. After reading online makes me wonder if his injury got worse and was left for dead by Karl & since he’s wanted went into hiding...or they both died.

It's even sadder that he himself thought he was in good hands, with that awful fraud. So cruel.
One can hope he feel in love with a native girl (not the imaginary one!) and stayed with the tribe.
