Discuss No Time to Die

Spectre imo is a much better made film (of course before the 3rd act plot twist). Yes the villain Sillvia was really well written but the Home Alone styled ending and the whole "was getting caught part of your plan?" scenario weakened it severely for me.

No, you're not the only one. Though I don't think Spectre is better.

Skyfall is definitely overrated but I didn't like Spectre nearly as much as Casino Royale.

MY DAD IS A WHOREMONEGER AND I AM GAY

I thought Skyfall was okay, but yeah I agree with you. It was not as great as it seemed like many were putting it over as. I am not the biggest Bond film fan, but still found it just 'meh' as an action film.

There is one main problem I have with the Craig Bond films. The intention of Casino Royale and it's ending was to show how Bond came to be the cold, misogynistic womanizer we all know. Yet in the subsequent three films he hasn't really been much of a misogynistic womanizer.

I rate them thusly:

Casino Royale 9/10

Quantum of Solace 5/10

Skyfall 8/10

Spectre 7.5/10 (although I need to rewatch it, have only seen it once in the theater. Bought the BluRay last month, so I will give it another go)

Skyfall is just hodgepodge of plot elements of other better Bond movies. Then stole the whole "Bad guy wanting to be caught" from the Dark Knight and stole the ending from Home Alone. The movie is about as original as "Mac and Me", "Nukie", or any Asylum Film. Frankly most of Craig movie are pretty forgettable. They don't have the best plots and there about as fun to watch as having a root canal.
