GAMES BOND - Mutiny on James Bond movie set as director skips filming to play PlayStation - then demands crew work overtime

American filmmaker Cary Fukunaga, 40, was “several hours” late to a scheduled slot due to his particularly intense video games session. A large number of crew were waiting on location when he eventually turned up three hours after his anticipated arrival time.

A Bond source said: “There is real mutiny right now on the set. It’s bad enough that Cary was so late for filming and held everyone up, but then for the crew to be asked to work extra hours to cover it was just the final straw.

This sounds fishy. His driver didn't call to say that refusing to leave until he'd completed the level or he wasn't answering the door? The producer didn't ring him and tell him to get to the set? He couldn't come up with a better excuse?

If there's even a hint of truth in this, I bet they wish they'd managed to work it out with Danny Boyle.

It was a fabricated story to continue the fake narrative that the production is a catastrophe.

Fukunaga debunked it himself on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/By3T14Ghxvy/

There's nothing fake about that. Daniel Craig sadly continues to star as "James Bond". 😟

Do you not enjoy any of Daniel Craig's JB films, @The Midi-chlorian Count?

😀 Sorry, I was just joking there - I do agree though that there does seem to be a lot of tales of woe being spun around this production for some reason...

Re Craig's films, no not really, although I haven't seen Spectre as Skyfall was the final straw for me.

FWIW, many people who disliked Skyfall ended up loving SPECTRE and vv. You should seek it out someday.

I've only been involved in one film in my life and that was being an extra in Braveheart.

There were 1500 Irish reserve troops on set the week I was there. The Daily Mirror reported that 500 of us had been sent to hospital for injuries. (It was "funny" because we were stupid Irish) 500! I didn't see one person injured let alone 500.
