概要

惑星コレリアで生まれ育った若者ハン。銀河帝国の暗黒支配が激しさを増す中、自由を求める彼は幼なじみのキーラとともに故郷からの脱出を図るも失敗し２人は離ればなれになってしまう。やがて銀河一のパイロットとなってキーラを迎えに戻ると誓い、帝国軍のパイロットを目指すハン。しかし３年後、彼は帝国フライト・アカデミーを追放され、歩兵として戦場に送られる。そこでウーキー族の戦士チューバッカと出会う。
