I sorta don't mind movies that throw you in the deep end in terms of setting. No explanation, just "Werewolves and ghosts are real, deal with it, you wanna know how our werewolves and ghosts differ from somebody else's? Watch the damn movie, you'll figure it out". And that aspect of Slice totally worked for me. But there was other things that didn't. Things like this playing out more like a couple of back-to-back episodes of a TV show than movie, a TV show we didn't get to watch the first or last episode of. Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian 21 or older. The parent/guardian is required to stay with the child under 17 through the entire movie, even if the parent gives the child/teenager permission to see the film alone.
