How good is it compared to the previous one?

It's better than Underworld Awakening in my opinion.

Its got much more going on than the Awakening plot, of all the sequels, its the closest in tone to the first movie.

I actually really enjoyed this. I felt like the plot was less muddy than the other Underworld movies. I really hope they make another one.

It's a no-brainer but good fun. I only ever watched the first two more than once, but I'd watch this one again sometime...

Better than Awakening. I think what impressed me was that it felt like it was doing some world-building with the new characters.

it's better than Awakening but not quite as good (or entertaining) as the first two

It's much better than Awakening, and I agree it's up there with the first two, 'Underworld' and 'Underworld - Evolution' and I hope they'll continue the franchise with the new characters and storyline.
