I'm with you here. How does it appear in the movie? In trailers it was all caps so not conclusive. Official sites seem to prefer "The Neverending Story". I'll wait for more input from other moderators and feedback from someone with access to the movie about how it appears in the movie.

I just fired it up and hate to admit the opening credits shows ...NeverEnding... It's wrong, it's a style gimmick above anything else, but, hey, I've just witnessed it...

That explains the IMDb title then. I'm more in the neutral about this now. Let's wait and see what another moderator thinks.
