I had to look away for that scene. No way I could stomach that!

127 hours

I have heard people say they couldn't stand watching the amputation scene from 127 Hours. Personally, it didn't bother me. But I actually had a hard time watching the hand scene from Gerald's Game, even though I had read the novel and knew it was coming. I'm rarely affected by violence on screen. I'm very squeamish about violence in real life, but for some reason when I watch a film it doesn't have that effect on me because I'm aware it's fake. This was an exception.

I literally walked out of my bedroom and would peep in every now and then to make sure that the scene had finished.

I cut my wrist by punching a fish tank(drunk) and was cut horizontally between my hand and wrist, and the Dr. told me i almost lost the feeling in half of my hand. Lucky for my i was able to put a tourniquet on my arm with my teeth and other hand or i would've bleed out. This lady only applied maxi pads to that wound(which would've stopped nothing since they are made to suck up blood. I think she woud've died.
