Discuss The Man with the Iron Heart

The German occupation of Bohemia was relatively mild. Czechs fared nearly as well as the neutral Spanish or Swiss during WWII until these nut jobs pulled this stunt. Heydrich himself was traveling to receive his orders to leave Bohemia and the "resistance" knew this. But they went through with it anyway! A totally senseless act that accomplished nothing and directly resulted in the death of over 5,000 of their countrymen and the end to the relationship of relative trust that had existed between Germans and Czechs.

They touched on the potential ramifications, but if what you say is known to be fact then it should have been emphasised in the film.

I doubt the filmmakers would have appreciated the ideological blurring. Par for the course.
