This is a smashing piece of cinema with Kay Walsh ("Charlotte"); Margaret Lockwood ("Freda Jeffries") and Kathleen Harrison ("Emmie") all on great form as the women involved in the machinations of the manipulative, murderous Dirk Bogarde "Edward Bare".
