Agree, was so good. I saw it yesterday and did shed a tear too. You could hear the sniffles in the audience and also a lady actually crying really loudly. Maybe it reminded her of something in her past.

I thought Bradley Cooper did an outstanding job directing this film and both he and Gaga had amazing chemistry on screen. Her voice is out of this world. Brilliant performances from both.

Like the OP, I was semi-forced to see this. A Movie Meetup group I'm part of wanted to watch this over Venom (which I would've preferred, but the reviews & changes with the character kinda turned me off)...and like both of YOU, glad I did! Not sure about Best Picture (although it has a good chance of being nominated), but acting-wise..wow! Gaga did great, but I think Bradly Cooper deserves the bigger recognition.

I got round to watching Venom yesterday and thought it was pretty awesome. I don't understand why it got a lot of bad reviews.

Agree, Bradley deserves more recognition, but Gaga deserves Best Song.
