Goofs: In all of the far shots of Scott being small, he casts no shadow. Yet, he does cast a shadow in the close up shots.

Orson Welles did the narration for the trailer for this film. He was at Universal working on Touch of Evil (1958). Many of the oversized props in this film were rented out to Twentieth Century Fox 11 years later for the television series 'Land of the Giants' (1968). Included among the American Film Institute's 2001 list of 400 movies nominated for the top 100 Most Heart-Pounding American Movies.
