Discuss Spider-Man: Homecoming

About how long do you think it'll be before this happens?

Edit: I guess a thought dawned on me that Spidey had the key to another dimension (consisting of Fox owned Marvel characters). I think I would love a scene where Spidey is considering opening an portal to that dimension, but he runs into Deadpool first then he's like "Dear God, no!" and closes the portal.

Unless Disney actually buys Fox (the talks have gone dead for now), I'm going to say never?

If Wolverine ever teams up with the Avengers, it'll be too late for Jackman to enjoy it....

Welp, looks like the deal for Disney to own Fox had picked up during the week, and it's pretty much a done deal with Disney paying Fox 60 billion dollars, and them signing over most of Fox's properties next week (which include the X-Men and Fantastic Four as well as the original Star Wars trilogy).

Since the Fox and Disney deal tends to involve Marvel properties, I think the crossover is inevitable at this point. I want to see Marvel do right by Fantastic Four, but I question how far they should go with Deadpool and mutants. Deadpool doesn't fit with the current filmatic Marvel universe, as a prominent character. I am hoping he does get a cameo in the upcoming Infinity Wars saga, though; in fact, I think it is necessary. Deadpool has an infinity stone and a long infatuation with Spiderman. I think the best way to bridge these two universes (or, three) together is by having Spiderman go through a daunting and temporary portal that lands him in Deadpool's universe iot get one of the last infinity stones.

Spiderman finds Deadpool effortlessly taking out his numerous opponents and begins to question whether his heroic idea was a good one. However, when he comes face to face with Deadpool and expects a bloodbath battle, Deadpool drops his guard and starts a meta fan-rave over Spiderman (citing the many Spiderman films), which freaks Spidey out. Spiderman gets the infinity stone by basically asking for it, and Deadpool obliges. In the end after Spidey GTFO of Deadpool's universe, Deadpool is left to wonder if he came on too strong and if he should expect a thank you card for giving away the infinity stone. He says this to Josh Brolin's Cable who is aggravated and just shakes his head no. Spiderman gets back with the stone and demands the portal get closed ASAP.

I don't know how anyone feels about the above, but I want it in a very bad way

Actually, I was wrong. Fantastic Four won't be part of the Fox deal as Fox doesn't own the rights to it. Fox was licensing the rights from Constantin Films (a German Company) who are the current owners of the production rights to it. Still Disney will be in a better position to negotiate the rights back from Constantin films as they can stall distribution rights in the U.S. as there won't be many distributors they could go to. WB won't do it (as Marvel is a competitor), however Sony might do it (depends on whether or not they're willing to piss off Disney).
