I don't think anyone is waiting with baited breath for this in the theaters in the U.S., Canada and China, due to it being released on Netflix in Europe because the director took his stance and refused to take a look at studio notes after a horribly received test screening. Critics may like the movie, but many would be theater goers will likely just hold off until their own country's Netflix service ultimately streams it.

Yeah, it was just okay. Reasonably entertaining while you're watching it, increasingly murky plotwise, and then when it's over, you kind of shrug "whatever."

It sounds like netflix Europe gets more perks than the USA and Canada users. Didn't they also get access to Star Trek discovery?

The selection in the US dwarfs what is on Netflix Europe....
This is not a Netflix production, they bought the international rights from Paramount... The movie did not get released theatrically in Europe, or internationally... It will evenatually hit streaming in the US, on iTunes and on Netflix/whatever and on disc... but it will never be in cinema outside of the US... So as a US movie watcher, you guys have it better in this case... best of both worlds 😎
