Any info on North American distribution, and whether it would have subtitles?

There is a Kino Lorber blu-ray disk. Search for UPC 738329239794. The dialogue is in English, French, Italian and there are optional subtitles in English for the entire dialogue (including the English bits, so also partly suitable as SDH, but without any descriptive elements).

In the US, it is also available, as of now, on streaming platforms, notably Apple and Amazon.

If you have a library card in the United States you can watch it at 'Kanopy' for free.
