Hoping for a migration of fans from IMDB. One of the first werewolf movies from Universal. Stars Henry Hull, Warner Oland (the original Charlie Chan) and the uber-gorgeous Valerie Hobson. This film was released just a month after her 18th birthday. Primary filming was probably done while she was still 17! Brilliant performances by all.

I agree It was the last one created and I feel it went out with a bang. My favorite are Mrs. Whack and Miss. Ettie. If anything I think that it influenced werewolf of london (1981). It has comedy, some great characters and even feels the pangs of being a werewolf when he transforms

Mrs. Whack! What a great name! That in itself shows the script writer had a sense of humor. I'm pleased there is someone else out there besides me watching these classic horror movies.
