Even though everything in this movie was supposed to be 'accurate' I don't know how two masculine looking queens wearing too much makeup fit in into the gay leather world. What gay guy would actually have sex with them? Probably none. Tranny-chasers might but they always consider themselves 'straight' so they would never be hanging out in the meat-packing district looking for sex.

Could have been a theme night, similar to what they did with cops. But that is a good point as the rest seemed to be into hard leather.

I didn't think about that, but they did show Davinci dressed that way in broad daylight so it made it seem like that was her job: turning tricks in drag, and she would possibly dress that way in her everyday life.

Sounds right, yeah. Plus you had the two bull cops just, well, cruising - so maybe they wanted to roust some action from anything that even looked female. On the other hand, you do see DeSimone twice (at a bar and in the park) but it's unclear whether he's there keeping tabs on his fellow, undercover cop he just just in the closet. That's one thing I've always like about the movie - the idea that so many questions remain unanswered.

One of them played a great serial killer in 12 to Midnight, such an epic movie
