Is it an IT thing to avoid colons?
Yes IT wiki agrees (as does official FB, yet AMBI page is missing) but IMDB says "2047: Sights of Death"
I know it is petty, but since it is an IT movie can the en-US be 2047: Sights of Death?

I have now investigated this and this is indeed an Italian production (original movie language Italian) of an English language movie. That means it is fine to use the US title as the translated English title. I would guess IMDb is simply going by their general title standards rather than what the actual original title was. Yes, it appears to be an IT thing to avoid colons... Closing topic. Thanks.
