It’s a combination - the name of each unique movie is from the book “The Toho Studios Story: A History and Complete Filmography”
The English translation of “Jirocho Sangokushi” to “Jirocho’s Tale of Three Provinces” is found a bit everywhere on the web and if I remember correctly so did some of the movies in the series have this translation already on tmdb before I started to standardize them.

Thanks, I had missed that part. I’ll when I get to my computer next time change the titles according to the book I linked. With Jorichi Sangokushi instead of Jorichi’s Tales of Three Provinces, as the book states that the list ”is a listing of all confirmed English titles assigned either by Toho or its US distributors”.
