Item: The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: Hi, the Original Title for this film is locked with the Italian title "Non si deve profanare il sonno dei morti"
This was a Spanish-Italian co-production. The Director Jorge Grau is Spanish as well as the primary production company "Star Films S.A." and according to various interviews with Jorge and IMDB, the Original Tile should be: "No profanar el sueño de los muertos"
Can someone pls fix this? thx.

Source please? It's curious that the Italian version was released about a year before the Spanish version.

Well the Premiere in Spain pre-dates any of the subsequent releases Spain 30 September 1974 (Sitges Film Festival) Italy 28 November 1974 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071431/releaseinfo?ref_=tt_dt_aka#akas
And from a 20min interview with Director Jorge Grau which can be found in the extras of Blu-Rays (Blue Underground) He goes into great detail about how the picture came to be made. At the 19:25 mark he refers to the title as "No profanar el sueño de los muertos".
While the script was brought to him by an Italian production company, generally speaking, the production was mostly him and his Spanish crew. Manuel Pérez - executive producer Francisco Sempere - Cinematographer Juan Cobos - Writer (uncredited) Miguel Rubio - Writer (uncredited) etc, etc. if you look through the rest of the crew.
The info on IMDB appears to be correct as far as I can tell from the extent of my research.
