He touches coulsin's blood from his dying body, but he didn't kill the man. It was Loki

What Cap meant you having blood in your hands. Is not that Coulsin was killed by Fury but that Coulsin died on Fury's watch. Yes Loki did kill him but a good leader though not responsible for the actual death is in a way responsible that he was killed on duty. Cap only reminded Fury that Coulsin's death happened during Fury's command. I hope this clears up a bit on what Cap's remarks meant but that is my interpretation of the event. I could be wrong.

It makes sense cap was in the army and a general who was still reeling from his best friend dying on the train. So to him it was failed leadership

The Avengers preceded Agents Of Shield and it appears that neither Cap nor the audience were aware that Agent Coulson was a 'Specialist' or had extensive field experience.

Cap may have viewed Coulson as a Desk Agent and who had no business going up against a very dangerous Operative like Loki. Goof Generals don't but their troops in harms way (Suicide Missions) and Coulson, even though he was more acting on his own, took a huge risk going up against Loki without backup or a real plan.

As a matter of fact it was Fury who kind of started the whole incident by making WMDs which, according to Thor, signaled to the rest of the Universe and beyond that Midgard (Earth) was preparing for a higher form of War. In Cap's mind Fury put everyone in Danger including Coulson which is why Fury has blood on his hands by playing with the power of the Tesseract.

It was "The Other" who told Thanos that the Tesseract had Awakened and that the Humans did not know it's true power. SHIELD's larger attempts to siphon energy from the Tesseract like The Red Skull had done triggered something through the cosmos of the Tesseracts's presence.

Just my two cents. grinning

But I thought they were already aware. Since they connected them all wasn't Thor chosen for earth as punishment. So I guess they were keeping an eye on us and waiting for the day we would start messing around in the universe

Thor was banished to Earth as punishment for inciting a war with the Frost Giants. Thor regained his regal station when he learned humility and understood sacrifice, finally. The post credit scenes shows Fury with the Tesseract and explaining to Dr. Selvig his desire to tap further into the Tessaract's potentially unlimited powers.

That scene doesn't explain just how Loki came to find out about the Tessaract after he had fallen into the abyss nor does it explain how Loki was able to make some type of psychic contact and suggestive control over Dr. Selvig. Is Loki doing this or is The Other providing Loki with a little boost? Nonetheless Fury it appears had already been doing some experiments with the Tesseract. Howard Stark had possession of the Cube since the end of WWII and when Fury saw what happened in Nevada he restarted his weapons program realizing Earth was out numbered. OPeration Dark Energy was doing more with the Tesseract than Fury even suspected because DR. Selvig was under some type of suggestions from Loki.

According to Hawkeye "Doors open from both sides" which is how Loki was able to get to Earth. Loki knew the Tessaract was on Earth and also knew that both Thor and Odin were Earth's protectors. It appears Odin never told Thor that he stored the Tesseract on Earth. Maybe Odin told one of his loyal foot soldiers to hide it somewhere within the Nine Realms and not to tell him. The down sides is that Heimdahl probably knew where the Tesseract was.

Bottom line is that it appears everything was cool until Fury attempted to start using the Tesseract which alerted Thanos of it's presence but Thanos didn't know exactly where it was or what or who on Earth was protecting it or even using it. For all Thanos knew and probably suspected someone other than Odin had the Tesseract. Maybe, just maybe a younger Odin was an equal to Thanos and the Tesseract was now known to not be on Asgard?

That's a good theory. I was watching one video where they matched up power wise and it ended in a tie. The Thanos could be killed or hurt the collective and that was like Thor's people.

Also I thought Thor was vanished for his Brother's crimes. I haven't seen the sequels.

I think were on the same brain level here

That is what I mean I think they have been waiting to make contact. The tessert was like the nuclear bomb or even a stallar engine that signaled we were ready.
