Discuss Lucy

Excellent movie. "I am everywhere" is familiar. What movie is the quote from?

It should've been in the oven for some time. There's a good idea in there, but it was a bit too short for my taste in order to really capture the story and make me care for any characters. An okay quick flick with potential to be much more. :)

I really like this movie. "I'm everywhere, b!tch" was used in Project Almanac. Not sure where else.

I was just dwelling on the "I am everywhere" thing, and I don't think it is a nod to any previous film that may have used it before. I am pretty sure they are setting it up to be that when we reach 100% cerebral capacity we become God, or at least Lucy did. She can manipulate time and space, and they "re-enacted" Michelangelo's "The Creation of Adam" when she goes back in time to the first human, conveniently named Lucy. Not the most clever stuff, in my opinion, more time in the oven on that. Anyway, when she finally reaches 100% she disappears from the world as we see it, and now she is "everywhere". Just like God.
