Venice. March 1735. The carnival is in full swing Everybody's happy mood and the lively streets are filled with musicians, mimes, clowns and acrobats of pickpockets who practice their craft each, displaying a colorful rainbow and sounds. At every corner, there is something going on that should not be missed - especially if it's something forbidden. However, some people are concerned about something else. One is Carlo Goldoni young lawyer of 27 years, he dreams only theater and he thinks only the part that wants to ride. Alas, the money was also hard to find at that time than now. His two friends, Antonio Vivaldi and Gian Battista Tiepolo are better known than him but they are also looking for this rare bird: a patron, who was not on ONLY the desire but also the means to sponsor a work of art.

Venise. Mars 1735. Le carnaval bat son plein La bonne humeur de tous et les rues animées sont remplies de musiciens, mimes, clowns et acrobates de pickpockets qui pratiquent chacun leur métier, affichant un arc-en-ciel coloré et des sons. A chaque coin de rue, il se passe quelque chose qu'il ne faut pas manquer - surtout si c'est quelque chose d'interdit. Cependant, certaines personnes sont préoccupées par autre chose. L'un est Carlo Goldoni jeune avocat de 27 ans, il ne rêve que de théâtre et il ne pense qu'à la partie qui veut monter. Hélas, l'argent était aussi difficile à trouver à cette époque qu'aujourd'hui. Ses deux amis, Antonio Vivaldi et Gian Battista Tiepolo sont plus connus que lui mais ils recherchent aussi cet oiseau rare : un mécène, qui n'avait pas SEULEMENT l'envie mais aussi les moyens de parrainer une œuvre d'art.

Velence, 1735. tavasza. A város a karneváli pezsgéstől hangos, mindenki mulat, az utcákat álarcosok lepik el. A 27 éves Carlo Goldoni, a ragyogó tehetségű ügyvéd, bejárja az utcákat, palotákat, mindenütt mecénásokat keres első darabja színpadra állításához. A színes kavalkádban megismerkedik egy gyönyörű fiatal lánnyal, Nicolletával, akivel szenvedélyesen egymásba szeretnek. De a környezetében arat a halál: rejtélyes módon valamennyi mecénás, aki hajlandó lenne támogatni az ifjú írót, gyilkosság áldozata lesz. A nagy inkvizítor rövidesen Goldonit vádolja a bűntettekkel.

L'amicizia tra tre famosissimi personaggi, Goldoni, Vivaldi e Tiepolo, nella Venezia del Settecento. I tre dominano, con le loro prodezze, la vita veneziana. E' la storia dei loro amori, della loro lotta per diventare famosi, ma anche degli intrighi nei quali sono coinvolti, specialmente Goldoni accusato di assassinio e singolarmente presente in tre clamorosi delitti.
