Discuss Bell, Book and Candle

Seeing as there are no discussions on this gem yet, I thought I'd just throw something out there... This is absolutely one of my favourite films of all time, definitely top 5 for me - great colour that was very of it's time and Kim Novak at her most hauntingly beautiful (even more than in Vertigo) and her pairing with James Stewart was perfect. 10/10

I haven't seen this in multiple decades, but remember that I really enjoyed it when I saw it years ago.

Then go and rewatch it! I hope you do sometime and come back and tell me you enjoyed it again :)

Yeah, basically Novak is a witch and she casts a spell to make Stewart fall in love with her, but she can't fall in love or she'll lose her powers... The more comedic parts come from Jack Lemon, Elsa Lanchester and Ernie Kovaks. I think it was based on a play and I believe it was the film Stewart did for Colombia to pay them back for loaning Novak to Universal for doing Vertigo the same year!
