Discuss Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me

Finally people are recognizing it's a very good film.

i find it difficult to rate as a film. it's a terrific and properly horrifying companion piece to the show but i think its narrative may rely on that too much.

it's easy to understand why people were pissed about it at release: it literally ends on the exact same same cliffhanger as the series. i dunno... was it advertised as a prequel?

Yes, I believe it was. Also understand that the film is much more dark and bizarre and less light hearted than the TV show which was adored by fans because of how it had a little bit of everything in it with a Lynch twist. I personally, like the film better. I surely hope the new season follows suit like the film in style.

The rating's too high. It doesn't really work as its own movie. It's somewhere in the 60s, if people were to be honest.
