Disney is committed to four (yes four!) new Avatar sequels so they don't need to worry about new Star Wars movies. I wouldn't be surprised if Disney don't make any new SW films this decade or maybe around 2027 or after that.
Avatar 5 is scheduled for release December 2027. It's possible a new SW film could be released winter 2028. I suppose they could release a new SW movie in summer to avoid clashing with Avatar sequels.
If Avatar 2 makes mega bucks Disney may not be that bothered with more SW movies. Avatar franchise has the potential to out box office Star Wars. I'm sure there will be more Star Wars episodes but it might make sense to put them on hold while Avatar returns.
