Alien 3 was probably the most attacked by critics and fans, of your list I like Predator 2 the best by far.

Yes, Predator 2 was fantastic!

All are great films except Alien 3, that movie will be forever crap.

Alien 3. While many of the special effects don't hold up today, I respect the story. Ripley's suicide and "abortion" of the alien inside her body was an interesting turn. Maybe they should've stopped making films about the aliens after this one.

Sorry but Predator 2 and Rambo 3 are very very bad, Die Hard 2 is meh didn't see the rest

I dunno if critics panned it, but Die Hard 2 is a strong movie, albeit a bit grisly with the plane crash and all. I find it much more palatable than its successor, which has the racism in it of McClane in his "I hate niggers" sandwich sign and the villain referring to Zeus (Sam Jackson) as "boy."

(BTW, I'm not saying the filmmakers are racist. Obviously, it's the bad guy's bias that I dislike.)

Rambo 3 is a propaganda film for Afghanistan war, how can you make a war propaganda film with rambo ?? the plot of the first one is litterally to denounce war and ptsd + plus the fact that the third one glorify children soldiers.. i just can't understand how you can like this. And i don't know why when people hear ''rambo'' all they can think of is a muscle guy with a red bandana firing a machine gun alone versus an army of viets in the jungle, the original story is far from that

Agreed.

All of these except for Alien 3 are films I loved when I was young and as I grew older realised how awful they are compared to the originals so in my case they were all originally overrated.

Predator 2 is one of the few films I would truely list as a guilty pleasure. I've watched it almost as much as the original, because its got a Predator in it but its an awful, badly made mess of a film. It so wants to be Robocop but it ends up being Robocop 2. Which funnily enough is on your list too.

Agreed about the special effects. Its one of those weird sequels where being on the edge of new tech meant the effects are worse than the original. I love Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade but it suffers this too and has some seriously ropy blue screen work in the plane chase compared to the raw grittyness of the chases in Raiders.
