Can't believe that. His fighting heyday was back in the 40s. Contact sports take a big toll on most people, shorten their lives.

And if this movie is any indication, he didn't exactly take good care of himself after it ended. 95 years old living life the way he did. Truly one tough bastard.

Wow. He's "tough," indeed. I'm starting to wonder what parts of the film were taken from real life and which parts were made up. LaMotta doesn't seem like a nice guy according to the movie. I guess guys like that just live forever?
