Discuss Fire in the Sky

Wow, this was really well made and superbly acted. The experiment/torture sequence was nightmarish to say the least, in fact the visual surroundings hit close to home after a near-death experience I've had. Not sure how true to the actual events it's based on, but I enjoyed the movie and was glued to the screen the entire time. 5/5

Yes, I feel the same way ... didn't have a near death experience (must have been very scary, sorry you had to go through that), but oh boy was I glued to the screen. Even the torture (or I guess in their view, observation), which was very hard to watch. I'm not the sort who's bothered by most of that stuff, but OMG! Anything to do with the eyes gives me the queasies!

My husband had gone camping in that area (Sitgreaves National Forest) and the guys he was with didn't tell him until later that it was where the abduction had taken place. Needless to say, he was a little freaked out!

I'd probably be a bit wary myself knowing that, lol. Agreed on the eye thing too, I can handle some pretty extreme stuff but that gets a wince out of me on occasion (Fulci's "Zombie" sealed the deal). When that needle kept moving I was definitely on the edge of my seat.

agreed, probably the best imo. The mystery and music was great
