Is that weird that its probably the best comic book film but not as enjoyable to watch as lesser comic films?

older people, non film buffs, people who stopped watching films in the 60s, most are dead now so this citizen kane crap will fade shortly

also i hated watchmen (i dont like comic movies in general though but watchmen was fucking pretentious. even the fact that it is a 'graphic novel' and not a comic book is pretentious)

Hmmm. I always found it interesting that in the credits for the TV show "The Walking Dead," they say it's based on graphic novels and not comicbooks.

Citizen Kane is regarded as the best film ever made. But how many people have you met who consider it their favourite?

uh, by who. My film studies teachers used to make that claim and yet I know literally no film buffs that put that in thier top ten even.

Exactly. That's exactly my point.

Citizen Kane is technically brilliant, a true work of genius. It's also rather cold and a bit dull. I prefer the flawed Magnificent Ambersons.

More of this best but not my favourite rubbish? Have users on here been stricken by dunce syndrome or really poor English reading classes.

Not weird at all, this one being less enjoyable than many other comic book films. Being one of the most overpraised and overcherished films of the 21st century thus far has a tendency to leave the viewer with that awkward "meh" sensation.

think about 'Titanic' that was very much praised when it came out (won 11 oscars iirc) now pretty much everyone thinks its a shit movie
