Discuss The Secret Life of Words

When people ask me to suggest good movies, I always make sure to mention The Secret Life of Words. It's one of my favorites, but unfortunately most people have never seen it or even heard about it.

The minimalistic environment in which most of the movie takes place (an oil rig) puts all the focus on the characters and dialogues. It never gets boring though, thanks to the intriguing characters and wonderful performances by Sarah Polley and Tim Robbins (and other cast members). I've watched this movie several times and never get tired of it.

Which lesser-known movie do you consider a personal favorite and would you suggest other people to see? Why should we see it?

I often recommend Perfect Sense... It's intimate while still being entertaining and kind of stays with you afterwards... I haven't met anyone who has seen it...
