Prequel to The Endless

Wish I'd known this was a prequel (of sorts) to The Endless. I watched that film and although I enjoyed it, I was pretty baffled throughout. Now I watch the trailer for this one and immediately see the same settings, same characters etc. Will watch this and see if it helps join any dots. I expect it won't...

actually it does. the two movies come together quite well.

I hope you did catch Michael and Chris in "The Endless". They are still at the cabin from "Resolution".
