Are there are any notable examples of the '3 Men and a Baby' title being used on a site or in reviews not generated from IMDb? I found a Variety review, but not much else. It seems the movie is known as Three Men and a Baby in almost all other cases. Also, all posters use the Three Men and a Baby title. Promotional material for the movie likely used Three Men and a Baby as the title since almost all reviews went in that direction. In conclusion: I think we should stay with that title and ignore the on screen title in this case. But let's wait for another opinion since we disagree on this. (And I'm off to bed now, but I will of course check back in tomorrow.)

From the Contributor Bible:
Seems pretty clear-cut to me.

But the promotional material only use Three Men and a Baby (unless you can prove that isn't the case). In the Twelve Monkeys vs 12 Monkeys case it is much closer and official promotional material exist with both titles. This was the main point I was trying to make. So that rule does not apply here. I should have added this yesterday, but I was on my way to bed. In any case we could use a second opinion.

This VHS trailer uses the numeral: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkS_e7Oa6l0 (it uses the actual title screen from the film).
But that's the only bit of promo material I could find that does. Also the billing block title uses the word' three'.
What's the rule for when the promo title differs from the onscreen title (as opposed to when promo material uses multiple titles)?

Thanks for looking into that.
Since it's not that common the rules are not really detailed about this particular example. When I was new here - 2012/2013 and the next few years - there was never any talk at all about on-screen titles, but instead a common sense approach seemed to be how most moderators treated titles. The main focus would usually be the title used on an official site, at least for modern movies. Then, over time, on-screen titles have been used more and more as a decider in some cases. The Kill Bill titles were decided that way if I remember correctly (at least I remember checking the onscreen titles for those movies).
My main concern in this particular case would be to use a title that is not really "in use", but if we decide to go in that direction we should try to make the rules even more precise. I still vote to stay with the Three Men and a Baby title here though.
