The ending of this movie has always bugged me a bit, because the main character literally goes from "I don't care about this baby" to a glowing portrait of motherhood in a matter of seconds. I can certainly see how holding a newborn baby would affect someone, but I think it's too simple to say "If you're on the fence about motherhood, you'll change your mind when your baby is born".

Well yes, that's true but this movie isn't speaking for all women.
