Eye Candy

These are movies that are, to me, visually stunning. Of course, YMMV.

    Awash in color and style.

Okay, it's not a "movie", you got me there but, right from the opening credits, it's so stunning it had to be on this list.

Everyone loves this movie except me. Convoluted plot notwithstanding, I can certainly understand how mesmerizing this tour of the landscape must have been back when it was in theatres. Again, Hitchcock is not as much of a storyteller, to me, as he is a brilliant cameraman.

Not the greatest entrant on this list but the intro to Miami is so steamy..
  8. December 10, 2010

This is the movie that compelled me to start this list. Absolutely sumptuous.

I'm not a big fan of Alfred Hitchcock as a story-teller, but his camera eye is one of the greatest of all time. I can't even tell you what this movie was about, but it came on TV one day, and I simply could not take my eyes off it.
