The 2010 Doctor Who at the Proms were the second and third performances of Doctor Who at the Proms They were broadcast live from the Royal Albert Hall on BBC Radio 3 between 24-25 July 2010 with commentary by Petroc Trelawny, forming Proms 10 & 11 of the 2010 season. A 60 minute edit of the prom was broadcast on television on BBC Three on 6 September, followed by a 90 minute edit four days later on 10 September 2010. In addition to this a special 25 minute edition of Doctor Who Confidential called Backstage at the Doctor Who Prom ran on the BBC Red Button service. The 60 minute edit was also broadcast in high definition on BBC HD on 11 September 2010.

Highlights from the first ever Doctor Who Prom, which took place at the Royal Albert Hall in July 2008, featuring Murray Gold's celebrated music for the television series, performed by the BBC Philharmonic and London Philharmonic Choir under the baton of Ben Foster. Described as the 'hottest ticket in town', the concert is presented by Freema Agyeman (aka Martha Jones), with a surprise guest appearance by Catherine Tate (aka Donna Noble), and features a specially filmed scene written by Russell T Davies, starring David Tennant and a mischievous Graske. Throughout the concert the music, is accompanied by sequences from the series and Christmas specials, as well as a host of monsters and aliens, including the Doctor's oldest enemies, the Daleks and Cybermen.

The Doctor arrives on a planet where two tribes, the savage Sevateem and the technically brilliant Tesh, are at war. He meets Leela, an exile from the Sevateem, and discovers that the tribes' god of evil is apparently himself...

The Doctor and his friends Ben, Polly and Jamie arrive at Gatwick airport. They quickly stumble upon an alien plot, centring upon the mysterious ‘Chameleon Tours’ - a low-price holiday company, whose young passengers have been vanishing in unexplained circumstances. The Doctor investigates further, but it isn’t long before his own friends start disappearing too.
