I 1939 arver den adelige englænder Sarah en ranch i Australien. Mere af nød end af lyst slår den porcelænsfine overklassekvinde sig sammen med den upolerede kvægdriver Drover. Hvis ranchen skal reddes fra en brutal kvægbaron, skal kvæget nemlig bringes til havnebyen Darwin, og snart begiver det umage par sig afsted for at drive de 2.000 kreaturer ud på den lange og barske tur gennem ødemarken.
Jægeren James Parker leder en ekspedition på jagt efter elefanternes sagnomspundne kirkegård i Afrikas jungle. Med sig har han sin dejlige datter Jane, der vækker abemennesket Tarzans opmærksomhed. Tarzan har levet hele sit liv i junglen, og selvom han hverken kan tale eller spise med kniv og gaffel, er han en god ven at have blandt Afrikas mange farer.

The day ends with one of the greatest tragedies in football: 96 people do not survive the catastrophe of Hillsborough. 766 get injured. The 30-minute-long documentary especially gives a voice to the survivors.
Inhabitants depicts animals in panic: the film is mostly filled with shots of mass migrations and stampedes (some, surprisingly, filmed from a helicopter). The title equalizes the species of the earth. Artavazd Peleshian merely alludes to the presence of human beings—a few silhouettes that seem to be the cause of these vast, anxious movements of animal fear. In many ways, this film is an ode to the animal world that moves toward formal abstraction, with clouds of silver birds pulverizing light. Peleshian said, “It’s hard to give a verbal synopsis of these films. Such films exist only on the screen, you have to see them.”
