SPACED OUT written, edited and directed by Priyakanta Laishram is a movie dedicated to all the people who are on the road to recovery from drug addiction. The film is a realistic depiction of addiction and how there is no magic cure. The vicious cycle of progress and defeat tumbles the family of Panthoi (played by Priyakanta Laishram) through many years in this film chronicle. It also depicts the relationship of a drug addict with his loved ones that's pushed to the limits by a seemingly no-win situation. A meditation on memory and the difficulty of reconciling the happiness of the past with a present that's become too sad to bear. The film won 5 awards and 15 nominations including Best Actor In A Leading Role for Priyakanta, Best Narration, Best Screenplay etc. at various international and national film festivals.

Salim and Alì, two Nigerian brothers, work in a tomato field managed by Fulvio, a violent and racist corporal. Alì, as opposed to Salim, lives a life which goes over the legality. Methbusters takes you along with a film crew following the Franklin County Missouri narcotics task force, as they take down home made meth labs in the most active illegal amphetamine manufacturing state in the U.S.. Every year except 2010, Missouri has led every state in the number of busted meth labs, only behind once by Tennessee, since it's inception in 2005. National Geographic channel aired this pilot film July 8, 2014, as Det. Sgt. Jason Grellner leads his highly trained swat team on busts that numbered 1,500 as of the taping. Nat Geo reports that Det. Sgt. Grellner and his team never lose a case, and besides busting meth labs, they also bust trafficking of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana.

Cocaine has always gotten a bad rap, and for a reason. Many impoverished farmers had no choice but to grow the opium poppy to feed their families. The documentary delve into the devastating effects of addiction that includes shocking scenes of a young Norwegian couple hustling, scoring and shooting up several times a day in order to appease the monster inside them.

The Rastreadoras de El Fuerte are a group of mothers of disappeared persons in northern Sinaloa who, in the absence of the authorities, twice a week go out with picks and shovels in search of the remains of their children; a testimony of the abandonment of the State, the aggressions of the drug traffickers, the indifference of society and the pain, but also of the strength and courage that keep these women together, and of their empowerment to mobilize society in community organization.
