Ye Xiu is the star player on an esports team that dominates the Chinese leagues of hit multiplayer titled “Glory.” His gaming days appear to have come to an abrupt halt, however, when he is forced out of his team – who are keen to accept a lucrative sponsorship deal he is vehemently opposed to.

Dejected, Ye Xiu takes a job at a late-night Internet cafe, and eventually strikes up a friendship with Chen Guo, the cafe’s owner. Eventually, Chen Guo reveals her plan – to launch a new “Glory” team led by Ye Xui. Will Ye Xiu resume his “Glory” days? And can he recruit – and train – enough fellow members to return to the top of the national rankings...and take revenge on his disloyal former teammates?

By chance, she discovers that he is actually a misunderstood genius.

Mind Pollution Gaming is a talk show where the german filmmaker Daniel Ruczko invites creative guests, plays retro video games with them, and talks to them about their work.

This was the first televised awards show for video and computer games. It was created by former Los Angeles-based Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences and aired on TBS on Saturday, 5 November 1994. Hosted by Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Leslie Nielsen, it included appearances by Hilary Swank, Matthew Perry, Will Arnett, Lark Voorhies, Herbie Hancock among others.

GOLD is a comedy soap opera, a satire of sports movies and television shows, and a loving tribute to the geekily wonderful world of tabletop role playing games.
