l giocatore di football americano Joe Kingman (Dwayne Johnson), spocchioso e pieno di sé, si ritrova davanti alla porta di casa Peyton (Madison Pettis), una bimba di 8 anni che dice di essere sua figlia, avuta da una relazione con una donna tempo addietro. Scoprirà presto che lei dice la verità, e per Joe si apre un mondo fatto di bambole e favole della buonanotte.

Giornalista in perenne ricerca dello scoop, va in California per fare un servizio sulle palestre di aerobica e di culturismo. Conosce una bella istruttrice e intreccia una relazione. Le promette di non farla comparire in nessun servizio, ma il suo giornale lo fa senza il suo permesso. Per fortuna lei crederà alla sua buona fede. Il film è giustamente passato quasi inosservato. Un po' meno la Lee Curtis (figlia di Tony Curtis e Janet Leigh) che mostra un bel corpo.

John Bourgignon, a drummer-chauffeur engaged to the daughter of a United States senator, encounters a sleazy film director, the leader of an aerobics cult, and other crazed characters in the days leading up to his wedding.

Monsieur Hulot con la sua vecchia auto si reca in vacanza, in una modesta pensione in Bretagna, dove incontra i pacifici ospiti che sono soliti frequentare questo ambiente famigliare. Grazie alle sue iniziative, Hulot stavolge le tranquilla comunità organizzando gite, pic nic e balli. Il culmine viene raggiunto l'ultima sera quando una festa con fuochi d'artificio si tramuta, per la goffaggine di Hulot, in un disastro dai risvolti comici.

Una piccola palestra di danza aerobica, per riuscire a sopravvivere, si vede costretta a dover lottare contro il proprietario senza scrupoli di un club rivale. Il conflitto si risolverà con una massacrante "Maratona di danza ad oltranza" per stabilire chi sarà il vincitore.

Spike waves to a young woman driving a red pickup truck through the desert of Needles, California every day; it is the highlight of his day. However, when Spike is accidentally thrown out of the skating rink he runs off and is pursued by people on a nighttime coyote hunt.
