The KidJanuary 21, 1921
Considered one of Charlie Chaplin's best films, The Kid also made a star of little Jackie Coogan, who plays a boy cared for by The Tramp when he's abandoned by his mother, Edna. Later, Edna has a change of heart and aches to be reunited with her son. When she finds him and wrests him from The Tramp, it makes for what turns out be one of the most heart-wrenching scenes ever included in a comedy.

Çıplak VatandaşSeptember 5, 1985
In my opinion, Sener Sen is the most talented actor in the world. In this movie he acts as a father who has a big family and lots of needs but so little income. He tries to do moonlighting and works hard after his normal job. He even does the most embarrassing things for him as we know he is an officer but he fails in most of them. After all those (adventures?)things he loses his mind and he runs in the middle of the city center half naked. Then, he catches the attention of people. He is now famous and lots of people try to help or take advantage of him.
WelfareSeptember 23, 1975

These issues are presented in a context where welfare workers as well as clients struggle to cope with and interpret the laws and regulations that govern their work and life.
The Rat SaviorOctober 26, 1976
A poor writer discovers that a species of rats has banded together to impersonate humans and supplant them unnoticed, in a manner reminiscent of the transformations in Eugene Ionesco's Rhinoceros, or the covert conspiracy of pod-people in The Invasion of the Body Snatchers. This film's story is based on a book by the Soviet writer Alexander Grin.

Zara Si ZindagiJanuary 1, 1983
Remake of Balachander's Tamil hit Varumayin Niram Sivappu, Kamal Haasan reprises his role as Rakesh, a graduate looking for work in capital, sharing a small home with two other unemployed youth. He falls in love with a struggling actress, whose life is likewise wretched. Fairly unrelenting grim view of urban unemployment, with the usual dose of Balachander moralizing. An interesting study of the perception of government.
