A penniless country boy goes in search of his runaway sister in Bogotá, where he falls for an aspiring singer, but gets tangled up in organized crime.

The show documents the efforts of Chuck Palumbo (a former WWE wrestler and mechanic) and his partner Rick Dore (a custom car and hot rod builder) as they locate and then clean up the collection of a car hoarder with the main idea being to get classic cars and parts back into the realm of public use and display.

This off-beat series follows the exploits of the Bush Mechanics, a group of engaging Aboriginal characters, as they travel through central Australia.

Combining adventure, magic, realism and a distinctive brand of humour, Bush Mechanics provides an insight into both contemporary and traditional Aboriginal culture.
